How tutors are chosen, how videos are checked, and what happens to your child's data.
- Who records the videos?
- Students who already took the course and scored top marks in it. Every tutor applies with their exam scores and a short statement, and our reviewers read each application personally before approving it.
- How do you make sure the explanations are correct?
- Every video is checked by an admin reviewer before it is published. Nothing goes live without that review.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. There is no subscription, no trial and no paid tier. Tutors are volunteers and VELUTAN is run as a non-profit, so there is nothing to charge for.
- Is my child's information made public?
- No. Published solutions show the question and the tutor's name only. Student names and email addresses are always removed. We never sell data and never show ads.
- Which subjects do you cover?
- 66 AP and IB courses across maths, sciences, humanities, languages and the arts, plus SAT and ACT. Explanations can be recorded in English or Turkish.
